Lot D, consisting of Substation Brumado II, in the state of Bahia, was sold by Neoenergia S.A. during Transmission Auction 05/2012, conducted by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) on Wednesday (6/6). The Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP) offered by the company was 1,414,476 with a discount of 39.99% in relation to the initial Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP) established by the Agency. The RAP is the revenue to which the enterprise is entitled for the provision of transmission services as from the entry into commercial operation of the facilities.
The purpose of the project is to improve the electricity supply in the region and to ensure compliance to the market in the short, medium and long terms, in normal conditions and in emergency situations.
