The initial proposals for the third Periodic Tariff Review (from the Portuguese, Revisão Tarifária Periódica – RTP) for companies Companhia Jaguari de Energia (CPFL Jaguari) and Companhia Paulista de Energia Elétrica (CPEE) were approved today by the baord of directors of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica – ANEEL). The proposals will be discussed in public hearing in the period of 10/11 to 11/12. See below the average preliminary indexes approved for each company:

The Periodic Tariff Review process aims to analyze, after a period previously established in the concession contract (usually four years), the economic and financial balance of the concession. The new limits for quality indicators in the provision of electricity services (DEC* and FEC**) of the concessionaires for the 2013 – 2016 period were also approved during the last Public Hearing.
