The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica – ANEEL) failed the Review of the Hydroelectric Inventory Studies of the Itajaí do Norte River, located in Santa Catarina, throufh Dispatch # 3.102, dated 10/5/2012. The ownership of the studies belongs to the company Engera – Engenharia e Gerenciamento de Recursos Ambientais Ltda.
When there is approval of studies, the hydroelectric use identified joins the portfolio of plants available for preparation of feasibility studies and basic design, considering the preemptive right that the holder will have, according to the current regulations. The inventory studies already approved by ANEEL, as well as a list of studies that are in the phase of analysis, can be found on the Agency’s website at the address below. (HP/PG)
