Those who are interested may send contributions to the Public Hearing Number 089-2012, whose objective is to discuss the allocation of quotas and determination of exchanges and reductions of Contracts of Commercialization of Energy in the Regulated Environment (Contratos de Comercialização de Energia no Ambiente Regulado – CCEARs), which is the object of the Provisional Measure No. 579/2012 and Decree 7.805/2012. The opening of the Public Hearing was approved today (October 30th) During Public Meeting of the Board of the National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL).
According to the proposal, the distributors whose quotas, added to the current contracts, most exceed the necessary volume for the composition of their previous contractual status, will transfer the difference in CCEARs (when they have it) to the distributors. The idea is that all the distributors of the national interconnected system (SIN) are able to receive the quotas. The objectives of the measure are: to keep the contractual status of the distributors unaltered, to value the distributor’s proportional allocation to the market and obtain a balanced reduction of the service tariffs, which is the essence of the Provisional Measure.
