The new tariffs will go into effect next Tuesday (4\/29), when they are published in the Official Federal Gazette. Celpe serves 2.684 million consumer units in 185 townships in Pernambuco and in the city of <st1:City w:st='on'><st1:place w:st='on'>Pedra<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> do Fogo, Para\u00edba.<\/p>\n<p>The average effect perceived by consumers is 3.34%; however, the percentages approved for the company vary according to consumption class.
