{"id":13902,"date":"2008-10-15T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-03-22T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T04:00:00","slug":"ANEEL-2813","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sindenergia.com.br\/seminario\/?p=13902","title":{"rendered":"The second transmission auction winnin companies were licensed by Aneel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Fonte: <\/b><a href='http:\/\/www.aneel.gov.br\/aplicacoes\/noticias\/Output_Noticias.cfm?Identidade=2813&#038;id_area=90'><b>ANEEL<\/b><\/a>Aneel&#8217;s Special Bidding Commission &#8211; Comiss\u00e3o Especial de Licita\u00e7\u00e3o (CEL) publicized, today, 15\/10, the transmission line second auction winning company post-qualification result, which was held last 3<sup>rd<\/sup>, at Rio de Janeiro Stock Market, in an open court conducted by BM&amp;F Bovespa. <\/p>\n<p  >After the analysis of judicial, technical, financial-economic, and tax elegibility documents of the State Companies: Centrais El\u00e9tricas do Norte do Brasil S\/A (Eletronorte), Furnas Centrais El\u00e9tricas S\/A, Eletrosul Centrais El\u00e9tricas S\/A, Companhia Hidro El\u00e9trica do S\u00e3o Francisco (Chesf), and the private company Neoenergia, the winning companies were considered licensed. <a href='http:\/\/www.aneel.gov.br\/cedoc\/Res_Hab_leil\u00e3o_006_2008_CEL.pdf'><b>See here<\/b><\/a> the report.<\/p>\n<p  ><b>Rules<\/b> &#8211; the phase inversion, i.e., the licensing after the auction public session, was established only for the winners by the new system for this auction, au contraire of the previous transmission biddings. The next phase is the homologation and adjudication (ratification) of the auction&#8217;s result, which is expected for 7<sup>th<\/sup> November, according to the publication&#8217;s schedule.<\/p>\n<p  ><b>Auction &#8211;<\/b> the auction had the participation of state companies. Eletrobr\u00e1s subsidiries bought five batchs. The winning proposals had depreciation within 0.6% and 60%. The average depreciation was 37.62%. See <a href='http:\/\/www.aneel.gov.br\/arquivos\/PDF\/Resultado%20do%20leil\u00e3o%20por%20lote.pdf'><b>here<\/b><\/a> the auction&#8217;s result.<\/p>\n<p  >The auctioned concessions are for the construction, operation and maintenance of approximately <st1:metricconverter w:st='on' ProductID='356 kilometers'>356 kilometers<\/st1:metricconverter> of 6 lines and 7 substations of the Basic Network, which will be built in the states of: Piau\u00ed, Maranh\u00e3o, Minas Gerais, <st1:City w:st='on'>Rio Grande<\/st1:City> do Sul, <st1:place w:st='on'>Bahia<\/st1:place> and Pernambuco. The ventures will create 4,900 direct jobs that will start within 16 and 24 months after the concession contract signing. The total investments for the lines&#8217; construction are estimated in R$ 500 million.<\/p>\n<p  >The transmission concession period is 30 years. In the auction, the winning companies and consortiums were those ones that offered the lowest tariff, i.e., the lowest Annual Permited Income &#8211; or Receita Anual Permitida (RAP) for the service.
