The new tax should be put in force as from the next November 30 (Sunday). CEA will not apply the correction because it is in default regarding the payment of several electric sector burdens. <\/p>\n<p>The readjustment impediment due to default is established in the article 10 of the Law no. <a href='http:\/\/www.aneel.gov.br\/cedoc\/blei19938631.pdf\/ohttp:\/www.aneel.gov.br\/cedoc\/blei19938631.pdf'><b><u><font face='Verdana'>8.631\/93<\/font><\/u><\/b><\/a>, which deals with the fixation of the tax levels for the electricity public service. That way, the concessionaire may only apply the average approved index of <b>40.56%<\/b> after complying with their sector obligations.
