Consumers served by the energy distributor Ampla Energy and Services S\/A had rates adjusted by the National Energy Agency (Aneel).  The new tariffs will take effect as from next Monday (03\/15) and will apply to 2.3 million consumers in 66 cities in the state of Rio de Janeiro.  Among the cities served by the company, there are: Niter\u00f3i, Teres\u00f3polis, Petr\u00f3polis, Cabo Frio and Saquarema.<\/p>\n

The average effect to be perceived by consumers of Ampla will be  -4.7% (negative).<\/b>  Check below the rates to be applied to bills .  The new rates already incorporate the effects of the new methodology proposed in  Amendment Term<\/b><\/a>  approved by Aneel in the board meeting on February 2nd<\/sup> this year.<\/p>\n
