{"id":12968,"date":"2011-02-16T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-03-22T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T04:00:00","slug":"ANEEL-3747","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sindenergia.com.br\/seminario\/?p=12968","title":{"rendered":"Low-income consumers with self-declaration gets more time to register"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Fonte: <\/b><a href='http:\/\/www.aneel.gov.br\/aplicacoes\/noticias\/Output_Noticias.cfm?Identidade=3747&#038;id_area=90'><b>ANEEL<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n\t<br \/>\n\tThe period for registration of low-income self-identified consumers in the Unified Register for Federal Government Social Programs (Cad&Uacute;nico) for maintenance of the social rates has also been postponed from March 1 to June 1, 2011.&nbsp;The extension of the deadline is part of the decision taken last Tuesday (02\/15) by the board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\tThe decision included the extension of the right to end the discount for low-income consumers who consume between 68 and 79 kilowatt hours per month (kWh\/month) and have not yet shown energy distributors the proof of inclusion in the Single Registry.&nbsp;<a href='http:\/\/www.aneel.gov.br\/aplicacoes\/noticias_area\/dsp_detalheNoticia.cfm?idNoticia=3731&amp;idAreaNoticia=347'><strong>Read more<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\tThe self-declaration was normalized by Resolution No.&nbsp;485\/2002.&nbsp;It allowed low-income consumers not enrolled in Cad&Uacute;nico or social programs of the Federal Government to hand over a declaration that distributes their income enabled them to maintain or grant the benefit of the social rate temporarily.&nbsp;This term was good through 01\/31\/2007, but by virtue of judicial decision, via an injunction still in force, the benefit for these cases continues.&nbsp;With the new regulations, these consumers should also enroll in Cad&Uacute;nico to keep the benefit.
