\nThe board of the National Energy Agency has defined, in the last public meeting (04\/12), the interim procedures for treatment of rates for electricity distributors which undergo periodic tariff review this year.The current rates will be maintained until the publication and implementation of the final methodology of the third round of review.<\/p>\n

After approval of the methodology of the third round of rate reviews, the distributors who had the duration of their tariffs extended will have 28 days to submit the initial information necessary for calculating rates, except those relating to the Regulatory Base Remuneration*, which still remains in Resolution No. 342\/2008.<\/p>\n

The resolution also determines the retroactive application of new contract values ​​at the date of the rate reviews. The change in revenue resulting from the difference between the tariffs applied in the interim period of validity of the rate review and the ones defined in the approval of final results will be calculated and compensated.<\/p>\n

The proposal came at a public hearing in the period from February 3 to March 4 this year and received contributions of ten institutions.<\/p>\n
