{"id":12736,"date":"2011-04-15T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-03-22T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T04:00:00","slug":"ANEEL-3979","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sindenergia.com.br\/seminario\/?p=12736","title":{"rendered":"Thermal Plant in Sergipe receives authorization for independent production"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Fonte: <\/b><a href='http:\/\/www.aneel.gov.br\/aplicacoes\/noticias\/Output_Noticias.cfm?Identidade=3979&#038;id_area=90'><b>ANEEL<\/b><\/a><br \/>\nIn a decision taken at the last public meeting of the board of the National Energy Agency (ANEEL), in 04\/12, Agro Industrial Capela Ltda.&nbsp;was allowed to act as independent power producer as from the establishment and operation of Thermal Power Plant (TPP) Taquari, in Capela (SE).<\/p>\n<p>The plant will have eight megawatts (MW) of installed power and generate energy from sugar cane bagasse.&nbsp;The transmission system of restricted interest of TPP Taquari will consist of a substation and through the connection point to the transmission line that connects the plant to the substation Carm&oacute;polis (SE) substation, owned by Energisa Sergipe.<\/p>\n<p>Currently there are 913 independent power producers in Brazil, according to the Generation Information Bank (BIG) of ANEEL, which can be found at&nbsp;<a href='http:\/\/www.aneel.gov.br\/'><strong>www.aneel.gov.br<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;, Technical Information, Generation Information Bank, or&nbsp;<a href='http:\/\/www.aneel.gov.br\/area.cfm?idArea=15&amp;idPerfil=2'><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The independent producer is a company or consortium of companies holding concessions, permits or authorization to produce energy that can be fully commercialized, at the generator&rsquo;s own risk, according to rules of&nbsp;<a href='http:\/\/www.aneel.gov.br\/cedoc\/ren2004109.pdf'>Normative Resolution No. 109\/2006<\/a>.
