The thermal power plant has 6.9 megawatts (MW) of installed power and will generate energy from sugar cane bagasse.<\/p>\n<p>The authorization was granted at the meeting of the ANEEL Board held last Tuesday (04\/19). Currently, Brazil has 274 self-producers of energy, 37 of which sell the surplus energy produced.
