\nIt was approved on Tuesday, (07\/05), during the public meeting of the board, the reduction in rates that will apply to consumers’ energy bills of <\/span>Companhia de Energia Elétrica do Estado de Tocantins<\/span>(CELTINS). The adjustment had been resolved last Tuesday (06\/28), but it went through a change to keep up with the update of the IGP-M. Because the index was negative, the rates were also lower.<\/p>\n

The average effect to be perceived by captive consumers of CELTINS will be 7.36% against 7.67%.<\/span> <\/p>\n

The rate became effective for 456,666 consumer units of 129 municipalities in the state of Tocantins last Monday (07\/04).<\/span><\/p>\n
