The figure represents an adjustment of 4.81% over the current rate in 2012 of US$ 24.88 per kilowatt.<\/p>\n<p>The new tariff will go into effect on January 1<sup>st<\/sup> 2013. The rate of transfer is the amount to be paid by unitholder distributors to acquire energy from the dam, which is marketed by Eletrobr&aacute;s. There are 31 unitholder distributors located in the South, Southeast and Midwest.
