\nThe 15th<\/sup> Adjustment Auction, object of ANEEL Normative Resolution # 411\/2010, with alterations of other standards and of Resolution # 536\/2013, will be held on 03\/27\/2013 by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica<\/em> – ANEEL), with operationalization by the Electricity Commercialization Chamber (Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica<\/em> – CCEE). Resolution # 536\/2013, which handles the alteration of the model of the Adjustment Auction Edict, was published this Monday (02\/25) in the Diário Oficial da União [Government’s Official Daily Newspaper]. The main changes are about the inclusion of a sub-clause that handles the rectification of the Purchase Notice linked to the buyer’s previous participation in the Mechanism of Compensations of Extras and Deficits– MCSD [from the Portuguese, Mecanismo de Compensação de Sobras e Déficits<\/em>] and the inclusion of a sub-clause about the confirmation step of real data of Financial Guarantee contributed and lot numbers. Besides this, it predicts the possibility of the companies that are under ANEEL intervention being able to be pre-qualified in the adjustment auction, even if they do not fulfill all the criteria established.<\/p>\n

The adjustment auctions are done for the punctual service of contracting of existing energy by the distributors, which may be held during the year of supply itself, limited to 1% of the load (demand). (PG\/PT)<\/p>\n
