\nThe Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency defined today (3\/5) the methodology and procedures for the 1st<\/sup> Cycle of Periodic Tariff Revisions of public electricity distribution service permit holders.
\n 
\nTo establish the methodologies to be applied in the 1st<\/sup> Cycle of tariff revisions of electricity distribution permit holding cooperatives (1CRTP-P), two public hearings were held for the receipt of contributions from society – 4\/14 to 7\/14\/2011 and 3\/15 to 6\/15\/2012.
\n 
\nThe methodology approved will allow for the definition of the tariff structure and deadlines for execution of the processes relating to the 1st<\/sup> Cycle of the cooperatives.
\n 
\nThe Agency's decision approves the Sub-modules 8.1, 8.3 and 10.3 of the Tariff Regulation Procedures (PRORET), referring respectively to:

\n·General concepts, methodologies and procedures applicable
\n 
\n·General procedures to be applied to the process of defining the tariff structure
\n 
\n·General organization and deadlines for execution of processes relating to the 1st<\/sup> cycle of tariff revision of public electricity distribution service permit holders (1CRTP-P)
\n 
\nAccording to the Agency, there are 38 regularized cooperatives operating in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Sergipe, Paraná, and Santa Catarina.
