The opening of a Public Hearing for discussing the Periodic Tariff Review for Allowed Annual Revenue (AAR) for the Centrais Elétricas do Norte do Brasil S.A. (Eletronorte), Copel-GT, Companhia Hidroelétrica do São Francisco (Chesf), Centrais Elétricas do Sul do Brasil S.A. (Eletrosul), Integração Elétrica Norte e Nordeste S.A (IENNE) and Foz Do Iguaçu Transmissora de Energia S. (ATE VII) transmission companies was approved today (4/30) at a Public Board Meeting of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL), and will go into effect starting July 1, 2013.

The review should be conducted every five years for these companies in July.The AAR review encompasses recalculating the cost of third party capital, the revenue resulting from transmission reinforcements authorized by the Agency and the revenues determined from other activities, called “Other Revenues”.Interested parties can send their contributions from 5/3 to 6/3 by email to:ap039_2013@aneel.gov.br or by post to the Agency:SGAN, Quadra 603, Módulo I, Térreo, Protocolo Geral, CEP:70.830-030), in Brasília (DF).
