Distribution Auction No. 003/2013, the bidding process to hire the provision of public service of power distribution in a given area in the municipalities of Putinga and Anta Gorda, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, which will be held today (05/03 ) in the auditorium of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica – ANEEL), changed from 10 to 11 a.m..
The region is currently served by theDepartamento Municipal de Energia Elétrica de Putinga (DEMEEP), which does not have the right to grant the concession to operate the service and, therefore, the Agency initiated the process for regularization of services in the region.
The winner of the event will be the one that offers the greatest annual value of Waiver of Revenue (Valor de Renúncia de Receita – VRR), plus an average tariff lower than that practiced by DEMEEP. The bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, followed by bids for speakerphone. (JS)
