Public Hearing to discuss the regulatory methodology and targets for the commercial quality indicators for Equivalent Duration of Complaint (DER) and Equivalent Frequency of Complaint (FER). The measure was approved today (05/07) during a Public Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL – Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica).
The goal is to stimulate a continuing performance of the distributor in the pursuit of efficiency and effectiveness in the process of handling complaints in order to identify and eliminate the causes of problems. Thus, compliance with the limits shall be evaluated annually, and, in case of noncompliance, the distributor will be penalized. The idea is that by the end of April of each year, the Agency will publish the DER and FER indicators for the distributors verified in the previous year.
