The board of directors of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL – Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica) approved last Tuesday (05/07) a public hearing to define the new calculation procedure for the Transmission Systems Use Tariffs (TUST – Tarifas de Uso Dos Sistemas de Transmissão). Interested parties may send contributions to the hearing in the period from 05/08 to 06/06.
In the hearing will be in the draft resolution establishing the value of TUST the period of grant of each generator as establishes transition rule for existing generators treated by Normative Resolution No. 267/2007, or for the generators that do not have TUST.
The Agency's technical area also provided at the hearing the preliminary database for the Nodal Program with information from 04/29 of this year, to estimate TUST calculation for the 2013-2014 cycle.
