Ninth lot is auctioned by Abengoa Concessões Brasil Holding

Abengoa Concessões Brasil Holding auctioned Lot I of the Transmission Auction No. 01/2013, conducted by the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL – Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica) on Friday (05/10), for R$ 197.3 million, representing a discount of 5.02% in relation to the initial Allowed Annual Revenue (RAP) of R$ 207.7 million established by the Agency. RAP is the annual revenue that the transmitter will have right to for the public service rendering of transmission to the users, starting upon entering in commercial operation of the installations.

Lot I is composed of five transmission lines and one substation in the states of Pará and Tocantins. The purpose is to increase the transmission capacity in the North, connecting the North-Northeast axis, as part of the solution for the integration of large plants. The project is expected to generate 6293 direct jobs and scheduled to go into commercial operation is 36 months. (PG/DB)
