The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL – Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica) published this Friday (05/10) the Management Information Bulletin for the first quarter of 2013. The Management Information Bulletin, available only in digital form, is a collection of relevant data on the electricity sector in the country.
The Bulletin provides updated figures in the fields of generation, transmission, trading, energy market, tariffs, supervision and interaction channels between ANEEL and society. By disclosing indexes that circulate domestically, the Agency intends to reduce the information asymmetry. For researchers and professionals that need a reference source about the sector, the publication is an essential tool, intended for establishing technical analyses and comparisons.
