Starting on 05/23 is the period for contributions to Public Hearing No. 046/2013, which will discuss the proposal with the society for the tariff review for Coperativa Alliança Ltda (Cooperaliança). The measure was approved today (05/21) by the board of directors of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL – Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica) during the Public Meeting. The matter will be discussed in a live session at a date to be set in the city of Içara (SC).
The concessionaire serves 33,647 consumers in Içara and in part of the municipalities of Jaguaruna, Araranguá and Sangão (SC).
The values submitted to the hearing by ANEEL consist of a preliminary proposal of 15.34% on the bill of residential consumers (B1) of Cooperativa. For industries, the proposal is of 20.75%. The final rates will only be known in August, when the matter will be resolved by the Agency’s Board of Directors in Ordinary Public Meeting. The revised rates will be applied starting August 14.
The tariff review is foreseen in the concession contracts and aims to obtain the balance of rates based on the remuneration of the investments of companies focused on the provision of distribution services and expense coverage effectively recognized by ANEEL. The audience will also discuss the quality of service and limits of the continuity indicators * DEC and ** FEC of the Cooperaliança sets stipulated for the period of 2014-2017.
