The period for submission of contributions to Public Hearing 050/2013, which aims to discuss the improvement of the public notice model for contracting of electricity and power associated with *isolated systems, is open. The measure was approved today (5/28) at a Public Meeting of the Board of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL). The Hearing will also discuss the appointment of Eletrobrás Distribuição Rondônia for conducting the auction based on the proposed public notice model, as the company has Reference Projects that aim at reducing the total cost of generation in Isolated Systems, as stipulated in Decree 7246/2010.
 
The proposal is that the notice include the possibility for distributors of isolated systems to conduct the auctions, in addition to the authorization to ANEEL’s Special Bidding Committee to pass the specific parameters of each bid to the respective concessionaires.
