Fonte: ANEELApproved on this Tuesday (05/28), during the Public Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica – ANEEL), was the opening of Public Hearing to discuss the budget of the National Electric System Operator (Operador Nacional do Sistema Elétrico – ONS) for the 2013/2014 cycle.The budget proposal sent by the ONS, which total value is R$ 507.3 million, included items costing, figures for the 2013-2016 Action Plan for the year 2013 and acquisitions and improvements.

ONS is a private right legal entity, under the form of civil association, non-profit, and its regulation and inspection is ANEEL’s competency.
