The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL – Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica) holds on this Thursday (06/06), starting at 10 a.m., a public drawing session for the municipalities that will participate in the consumer satisfaction evaluation related to the services rendered by the electricity distributors. The drawing will take place at the Auditório CEPAT, at ANEEL headquarters in Brasília (DF), and will be transmitted on the Agency’s site (www.aneel.gov.br).
This will be the 14th edition of the annual survey that determines the ANEEL Satisfaction Index (IASC). The interviews will be conducted with 19,470 residential customers of 475 municipalities located in the concession areas of 63 distributors. The period of 60 days for the questionnaires is scheduled to start in July and end in September 2013.
IASC works as an instrument for assessing quality from the perception of residential consumers and provides subsidies for utilities refine service delivery and also to assist in ANEEL inspection activities and improvement of the regulatory process.
