Next Wednesday (06/05), starting at 2 p.m., at the headquarters of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL – Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica), a live session of public hearing to discuss the regulation of the methodology and goals for commercial quality indicators Duration of complaint (DER) and Frequency of complaint (FER) will be held.

The hearing will be held in the auditorium of ANEEL, located at the address SGAN 603 norte, módulo H, Brasília-DF. The purpose of the proposed regulation is to stimulate hearing a performance of the continuous distribution in the pursuit of efficiency and effectiveness in the process of handling complaints in order to identify and eliminate the causes of problems. Thus, compliance with the limits shall be evaluated annually, and, in case of noncompliance, the distributor will be penalized. The idea is that by the end of April of each year, the Agency publishes the indicators DER and FER of the distributors verified in the previous year.

The hearing was approved on 05/07 during the Public Meeting of the Agency’s Board of Directors.
