The board of directors of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL – Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica) approved today (06/11) the second phase of Hearing No. 51/2012 which specifically discussed the mechanism of application of discounts in the Tariff for Use of the Distribution System (TUSD – Tarifa de Uso dos Sistemas de Distribuição) for licensees.
With the approval of the proposal put in hearing, it was established that the discounts will be applied in the tariff adjustment following the tariff review, in order to maintain tariff balance of Parcel A and so there is no retroactive adjustments of transfer between licensees and concessionaires. The subject was in hearing in the period of May 23 to June 3 and received a contribution from the National Confederation of Infrastructure Cooperatives – INFRACOOP [Confederação Nacional das Cooperativas de Infraestrutura].
