Schedules for deployment of Wind Farms Asa Branca I, Asa Branca II, Asa Branca III and IV Nova Eurus, all located in the municipality of Parazinho, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, were extended by the Board of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) during the Public Meeting last Tuesday (6/11). The companies in charge requested the postponement to reconcile with the commencement of commercial operation of transmission facilities of Substation João Câmara III, scheduled for January 2015.
The Agency also extended the deadline for implementation of Generation Centers Miassaba 3, Rei dos Ventos 1 and Rei dos Ventos 3, located in the municipalities of Macau and Galinhos (RN), in order to concatenate with the commencement of commercial operation of transmission line 230kV Mossoró II – Açu II C2 and LT 230kV Paraíso – Açu C3 II, owned by CHESF, scheduled for October 2013.
