The board of the National Agency of Electricity (ANEEL) approved yesterday (06/18), a public audience to obtain contribution to the proposed Auction Edict No. 06/2013 (A-5), for the purchase of new energy ventures, aiming at hydroelectric and thermoelectric energy supply, beginning in 2018. Contributions may be sent in the period from June 19th to July 5th and the auction will be held on August 29th, 2013.
The main changes with respect to the auction edict A-5, 2012 are the improving of the management of faithful performance guarantees, which will be then displayed directly on behalf of the Special Purpose Entity (SPE); the forecast of the progressive implementation of the performance bond, in the event of late intermediate milestones of the implementation schedule of the plant, and the exclusion of wind companies from the list of projects that will attend the event.
