The unified settlement of Short Term Market operations (STM) for the months of May and June 2013 may be performed by Trading Chamber (CCEE) on days 5 and 6/8. The measure was taken by the Board of the National Electricity Agency (ANEEL) during today’s public Meeting (9/7).
The matter was discussed by the Agency at the request of the CCEE, because of injunctions obtained in court by generators in order to suspend the effects of CNPE Resolution No. 3/2013, which led to staff costs by actuation of thermoelectric from March of 2013. Thus, the generators not served by injunctions should prorate values with consumers.
It was also determined that if the injunctions are overturned, CCEE will assume all responsibility of reimbursing all payers with updates. Now, the CNPE settlement referring to April 2013 has been authorized by the Board of Directors of the CCEE for July 11th and 12th. (PG/DB)
