Fonte: ANEELThe board of directors of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency extended this Tuesday (07/16) the deadline for sending of contributions to the public hearings that discuss the 3rd Periodic Tariff Review (RTP – Revisão Tarifária Periódica) for concessionaires Companhia Energética de Alagoas (Ceal), Energisa Paraíba (EPB) and Companhia Energética do Maranhão (Cemar). Interested parties may send the proposals in the period of 07/17 to 06/23 to the e-mails listed in the table below or to the Agency's address (SGAN, Quadra 603, Módulo I, Térreo, Protocolo Geral, Postal Code: 70.830-110, in Brasília – DF). The Agency also approved during the Public Meeting, the cancellation of the live sessions that would be held in the capitals Maceió, João Pessoa and São Luís. Thus, the discussion will be done only in a documentary manner.
After consideration of the submissions received, the matter will be resolved by the Agency's Board in an Ordinary Public Meeting for the application of tariffs starting August 28.
The tariff review is foreseen in the concession contracts and aims to get the balance of rates based on the remuneration of the investments of companies focused on the provision of distribution services and expense coverage effectively recognized by ANEEL. The hearing will also discuss the service quality and the limites of the continuity indicators *DEC and **FEC of the sets of the three concessionaires. (PG)
