The deadline for agents and institutions in the electricity sector to register or update information in the Register of Institutions and Managers / Representatives (CID) has been extended until August 16 of this year.

The system was created to facilitate data collection and increase the reliability of the Agency's records. The fundamental difference between the CID and existing procedures is that the institutions themselves shall register their data and keep their information updated – procedures that were done by ANEEL.

The auto-registration will avoid, for example, doubled data that takes place when more than one area registers the same agent using different names/acronyms. Furthermore, the information entered will be reference for all systems of the Agency.

The individuals and companies were notified, by electronic mail, of the need for registration in the CID and received guidelines for the procedure. Those who have not done the registry can do it through the following link: http://cid.aneel.gov.br/cadastrarLogin.aspx?codtoken=o0jt0ma7.

All agents should do their registration in the CID. After this phase, the registration will be suspended for the processing of information. The System of Register of Institutions and Managers / Representatives is available at the address http://cid.aneel.gov.br and, to answer questions about the registration, ANEEL created the electronic mail cid@aneel.gov.br.
