Extraordinary Tariff Review of Cooperatives is approved

Fonte: ANEEL
RTEApproved on Tuesday (07/16) by the Executive Board of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) was the Extraordinary Tariff Review (RTE – Revisão Tarifária Extraordinária) of the Licensees Distribution of Electricity.

The Agency's decision meets the claim of Licensees of Distribution of Electricity to consider the effects of cost reduction enabled by the Law No. 12.783, dated 2013, Provisional Measure No. 605, dated 2013, and Decree No. 7.891.

The calculations performed by ANEEL covered the tariff coverage change for purchase of electricity for use by distribution and transmission systems for industry charges. To all licensees zero value was assigned for the Fuel Consumption Account (CCC) and the Global Reversion Reserve (RGR), reduced the Energy Development Account (CDE) and revoked the stipulated quota of the CCC in the last tariff process.

With regards to purchasing power, the update of the Tariff of Electricity (TE) was done for the current methodology, i.e., correction by economic repositioning index of the tariff processes of the supplies, including RTE of the concessionaires. Furthermore, the discounts mentioned in Decree No. 7.891, dated 2013, were removed from the tariff structure, from the exclusion of coverage granted in the last tariff process.
