The Board of ANEEL decided today (7/30) to open the public hearing to receive contributions on the proposed amendment of the regulation of the calculation of Tariffs for Transfer of Power and the Bonus Tariff of Itaipu. The proposal consists of establishing that Eletrobrás report to ANEEL the value of the trading account of the Itaipu’s power only when the balance is positive. In case of negative balance, the bonus tariff is zero and submission of the information is not required.
