The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica – ANEEL) published on Thursday (8/8) Dispatch No. 2819, which reduced the values of transfer from the Energy Development Account (CDE) to distributors to cover the cost to drive from plants. The measure is related to the months of April, May and June 2013 and was necessary due to a court decision that overturned an injunction granted to the Brazilian Association of Thermoelectric Generators (Abraget) and thus came to include generators in the apportionment of the costs of Charge System Services for Energy Security, under Resolution No. 3 of the National Energy Policy.
The highest values were for Companhia Energetica de Minas Gerais (Cemig), R$ 114 million, and for Eletropaulo, R$120 million. Check out the full order here. (PG/DB)
