Hearing will discuss rules of compensation to transmitters

Fonte: ANEELStarting today (9/9) and going until 10/11 is the deadline for contributions to the public hearing which will debate the criteria for compensation to transmitters for non-depreciated assets existing on May 31, 2000. There will be a live meeting to discuss the matter on 10/10 at the headquarters of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) in Brasilia.
The Agency's proposal for asset valuation is based on the methodology of the New Replacement Value (VNR), as determined by Law nº 12.783/2013. The calculation depends on the preparation of the appraisal report by a company accredited by ANEEL and will not be regarded as assets items such as software, hardware, buildings, machinery and vehicles. These assets comprise the Regulatory Annuity Base (BAR), with compensation, amortization and depreciation calculated in the next tariff revision of revenue.
The stock prices for definition of VNR should be formed on the basis of information about purchases made by dealers in the last five years and the schedule for delivery of the appraisal report must be reported to ANEEL by December 31, 2013.
Contributions may be sent to the e-mail address ap101_2013@aneel.gov.bror to the Agency’s address: SGAN, Quadra 603, Módulo I, Térreo, Protocolo Geral, CEP: 70.830-110, Brasília – DF.
