The Public Consultation No. 12, which aims to discuss the procurement of human resources and infrastructure sharing between generation, transmission and distribution, under the Review of Normative Resolution No. 334/2008, was extended until 12/31/13. Previously, the deadline for contributions was 11/21/13.
The Brazilian Electricity Sector is composed of many corporate groups, some of them acting on more than one level of the supply chain – generation, transmission, distribution and trading, structured through separate legal entities under common control. To reduce production costs and administrative expenses, and thus maximize profit, entrepreneurs seek to optimize the allocation of their resources and enhance the management process. One way to achieve these goals is to share professionals between group companies, through an apportioning expenses agreement (cost-sharing agreement). The sharing aims at the optimization of administrative processes needed for the maintenance of the company but not directly related to the provision of regulated services.
The subject has already been discussed at the Public Hearing No. 41/2012 and received 18 contributions in the period from 06/01/2012 to 08/01/2012. Contributions may be sent to the email: cp012_2013@aneel.gov.br or to the agency’s address: SGAN, Quadra 603, Módulo I, Térreo, Protocolo Geral, CEP: 70830-110, Brasília-DF.
