The National Agency of Electricity (ANEEL) is promoting next Monday (11/18) at 11 a.m the Energy Auction No. 9/2013 (A-3*) for the purchase of new wind, solar, thermal and biomass or natural gas combined cycle energy generation projects, whose supply should start from 1/01/2016. The auction will take place via Internet, with operationalization by the Electricity Commercialization Chamber (CCEE).
For this event, the Marginal Cost Reference (CMR) will be R$ 126.00 MWh. The starting price of the Product Quantity and initial price of the product Availability is R$ 126,00 /MWh.
For the first time, solar generation projects may participate in the auction, in the form of availability, whose power is equal to or greater than 5 MW and Variable Cost per Unit (CVU) ** equals zero.
A change in relation to previous notices, with respect to the guideline established in art. 14 MME Ordinance 226/2013: In case of unavailability, the date of supply, the transmission facilities necessary for the flow of energy produced by the seller, there is an obligation to rebuild ballast sales to the seller, even though the plant is deemed apt to enter into commercial operation.
