The National Electricity Agency (ANEEL) approved in a public meeting held today (29/10), a public hearing to discuss the draft of the Auction Notice No. 12/2013 (Auction "A-1", 2013). The event respect to the contracting of electricity from existing generation facilities will be operated by the Electricity Trading Chamber (CCEE) on December 17th, 2013.
The negotiated electricity will be the object of Contract for the Electricity Trading in a Regulated Environment (CCEAR) in the modality amount for all energy sources. The CCEAR will have distinct supply periods, beginning on January 1st, 2014 and ending supply on 12/31/2014, 06/30/2015 and 12/31/2016.
The existing energy auctions for existing energy contracting projects, whose construction investment is amortized happen one year in advance (A-1).
