The National Electricity Agency (ANEEL) authorized last Tuesday (10/22), during a public meeting, the implementation of the Pilot Project "Income and Energy Generation " presented by Brasil Solair Energias Renováveis Comércio e Indústria S/A, in partnership with Caixa Economica Federal through the Environmental Fund – FSA CAIXA. The project will be developed in the Praia do Rodeadouro and Morada do Salitre condominiums, members of the Minha Casa Minha Vida program, located in Juazeiro the State of Bahia.
The project includes the installation of 9,144 solar modules, each of 230 kWp on the roof of the consumer units participating in the Minha Casa Minha Vida program. Generation systems will be connected to the distribution of the Electricity Company of the State of Bahia (Coelba) through connection extensions.
The solar panels will possess independent electrical installations and, for each set, CC/CA inverters of 4 kW. There will be a suitable meter for each inverter which communicates remotely with the concentrator, which will totalize measurements. It will be up to ANEEL the authorization of the system deployment and totaling of data of the micro-distributed generation to allow the commercialization of the total energy generated for free consumers into the context of the Electricity Trading Chamber (CCEE).
Brasil Solair highlighted the aspect of social organization added to the project, since the residents of the condominiums may obtain income by power generation, first, to the condominium housing, allowing its structure and sustainability, and second, for each of the tenants in the form of condominium income.
According to the Agency, pilot projects enable the conduct of preliminary studies on a small scale in order to assess the costs, feasibility of the business model, appropriate sample size, difficulty of implementation, among other variables.
