Fonte: ANEELTransmission Auction 13/2013 was held by ANEEL (the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency) on Dec. 13. It has the participation of seven competitors, who acquired three from total four lots. The average discount was 5.64%. That means the revenue of entrepreneurs in the exploration of their investments will be lower than foreseen at first, contributing to energy tariff affordability. The highest discount, of 6.10%, was obtained in Lot D, acquired by Consórcio Transmissão de Energia Brasil.
Lot B, which had no proposals, may be offered again later in another bid.
The construction work will range from 22 to 36 months. The transmission facilities will be built in six Brazilian states: Minas Gerais, Rondônia, Maranhão, Piauí, Tocantins and Ceará.
