Lot C was acquired by Consórcio Transmissão de Energia Brasil during Transmission Auction 13/2013 held by ANEEL (the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency) on Dec. 13, in São Paulo.
The value offered by the company was R$ 16,040,000.00, representing a discount of 6% in relation to the initial Annual Revenue Allowed (RAP) established by ANEEL, of R$ 17 million. RAP is the revenue of the entrepreneur for providing the transmission service when the facilities start operating.
These new facilities will enable to increase the reliability in the service provided in southern Maranhão, northeastern Tocantins, northeastern Maranhão and northwestern Piauí.
