Starting today (12/23) until 01/21/14, is the period of contributions to the public hearing aiming to discuss a proposal to standardize the penalty for non-delivery of energy contracts related to the first and third Reserve Energy bidding (LER) adopted from the fourth bidding contracts.
The opening of the hearing was decided by the Board of the National Electricity Agency (ANEEL), during a public meeting on 12/17, and was motivated by the request of the Union of the Cane Sugar Industry – Single. The institution requests revision of clause 14 of the Reserve Energy Agreements (CER) from the 1st and 3rd Reserve Energy bidding, so that the penalty matches that of the signed contracts from the 4th LER, which were milder.
