Fonte: ANEELThe models of the Power-Purchase Contracts (CCEAR), which shall apply to contracts to be signed after the future auction of electric power supplied by new generation enterprises, are available through the link Audiências/Consultas on Aneel’s Internet site (www.aneel.gov.br), and are presently being submitted to Public Hearing by means of documental exchange. Under the terms of the proposal, contracts shall be signed between each selling agent and all of the corresponding purchasing distribution agents, according to the auction results.
The auction is expected to take place in the month of December, and will be directed at those generation projects authorized or conceded before March 16, 2004; at the generation plants that came into operation after January 1, 2000 and whose power had not been contracted for by March 16 of last year; and at those new plants which have, as yet, no concession or authorization.
With a view to adapting the documents to the profile of the participating generatiion entities, the proposal foresees the elaboration of two kinds of contract: by availability or by quantity. The former option (availability) is directed at thermoelectric plants and the latter (quantity) is aimed at the contracting of electric power coming from hydroelectric plants.
