The directors of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Aneel) will sign tomorrow (02/14) the Cooperation Agreement with the Public Service Regulatory Agency of Santa Catarina (Agesc) for the delegation of regulation support actions, inspection and auditing of electric sector companies established in Santa Catarina. The signature ceremony will be held at 4 p.m., at the convention center at Bristol Castelmar Hotel, on rua Felipe Schmidt, 1260 – Florianópolis, with the presence of governor Luiz Henrique da Silveira; Aneel director Edvaldo Santana, and Agesc executive director Francisco Cardoso de Camargo Filho.

The purpose of the offset is to provide consumers and agents greater agility in service rendering by the distribution leasers and the supplying of information related to regulation, inspection and audit activities.

Aneel maintains Cooperation Agreements with 11 regulatory agencies in the states of Pará, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Alagoas, Bahia, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul.
