In an extraordinary meeting held today, the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency’s (Aneel) collegiate board authorized the final index for the second periodic tariff revision at the Empresa Energética de Mato Grosso do Sul S/A (Enersul) distributor. The final index will go into effect tomorrow (4/8) for the 716,941 consumer units in 73 townships of Mato Grosso do Sul.
The average effect to be perceived by consumers from April 8 of this year to April 7 of 2009 will be -7.18% (negative). The percentages for the average revision effect shall be differentiated according to consumption class. Check the indexes that will be applied to the energy bills:
