Approximately 120 representatives from associations of residents, consumer, mayors and agriculturists participated in the consult. In all, 41 people had manifestations.
The consult was lead by Aneel superintendent of electricity service inspection, Paulo Henrique Lopes. The contributions collected during the meeting will serve as subside to the periodic inspection of the services rendered by the company in the distributor’s concession area, to be carried out in 2008.
Besides encouraging the improvement of power service rendering, the purpose of the public consult is to provide consumers direct access to the Agency to contribute to the inspection processes. The quality in the supply and customer service is some of the aspects of the services rendered by the distribution leasers observed by the inspection.
Ceron, the seventh distributor to go through the public consult about service inspection this year, serves approximately 402.5 thousand consumers in 52 municipal districts in Rondônia. Another 21 consults are predicted for 2008. The public consults about inspection of the services rendered by the distributors started in 2004.
