The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Aneel) has fulfilled today (04/30), in Belém, another step of the public hearing concerning the improving and update proposal of the Ordinance nº 456/2000, when it held the live public session conducted by Aneel’s Director, Mr. Romeu Donizete Rufino. This ordinance establishes the general conditions of electric energy supply and governs the relationship between consumers and distributors.
This meeting was attended by 82 people, which were individual consumers, residents association representatives, electric energy distributors, local Procon, do Movimento dos Atingidos por
Reduction of non-technical losses, default, commercial service quality, service stations and operational costs minimization are some of the issues that are being analyzed by the regulation. The table below shows some of the changes that are being proposed:
