The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Aneel) holds today (06/04) starting at 5 p.m., in Boa Vista (RR), a public consult to hear consumers about the quality of services rendered by the distributor Boa Vista Energia. The meeting has the purpose of collecting contributions to subside the company’s periodic inspection work, foreseen for this year. The leaser serves 72.6 thousand consumer units in the capital of Roraima.

The consult presided by assessor of the Superintendence of Inspection of Electricity Services, José Thomé Assad Júnior, will be the tenth held this year by Aneel. The public meeting provides the consumers direct access to the Agency and the opportunity to contribute to the processes of inspection of quality of service and supply of electricity by the leasers.

Besides the public consult in Boa Vista, Aneel and the associated state agencies shall promote this year 29 live public sessions about the services rendered by the distribution companies. Up to this moment, meetings were held in the concession areas of distributors Celg (Goiás), CEA (Amapá), Saelpa (Paraíba), RGE (Rio Grande do Sul), Celtins (Tocantins), Elektro (São Paulo), Ceron (Rondônia), CEEE (Rio Grande do Sul) and Cosern (Rio Grande do Norte).  The public consults about inspection of the services rendered by the distributors started in 2004.
